The infinitives of Verbs In Spanish, there are verbs that end in –AR, -ER, and –IR. Remember that the infinitive of a verb is the “to _____” form that would be found in a dictionary. Here are some –ER verbs in the infinitive.

Comer To eat

Beber To drink the verb tomar (“to take”) is also sometimes used in the sense of “to drink”
