ADJECTIVES Words that describe people and things are adjectives: good, big, nice, neat… Most Spanish adjectives have two forms: -masculine: Eduardo es simpático. -feminine: Alicia es estudiosa.

Adjectives that end in -e or -ista can be used with either male or female nouns. -Tomas es inteligente. Luisa es inteligente. -Juan es deportista. Margarita es deportista.
