?Qué hora es? (What time is it?) “It is……”  Es ……. (la una, el mediodía, la medianoche)  Son las…. (dos, tres, cuatro……)  Note: When telling time, 15 = cuarto!  1:15 = Es la una y cuarto.  2:45 = Son las tres menos cuarto. (Literally “It is 3 minus 15”…In other words: It will be 3 o’clock in 15 minutes)

La Hora + ir: Apuntes  Tener que = to have to…  A las/a la = at  Remember: a + el = al 1. I have class at noon. 1. Tengo clase al(a el)mediodía. 2. I have to go to class at 3: 30 pm. 1. Tengo que ir a (la) clase a las tres y media de la tarde. 3. I am going to class at 1 pm. 1. Voy a (la) clase a la una de la tarde.
