Para Pensar Why are the subject pronouns “optional” in a Spanish sentence? ANSWER: Because the subject is “built into” the verb; the ending of the verb tells you the subject Which subject pronouns do you think are most commonly used? Why? ANSWER: 3rd person singular and plural (usted, él, ella, ustedes, ellos, ellas) because there are multiple subjects pronouns for the ending.
