Asking for information Para hacer una pregunta en español puedes usar palabras interrogativas como ¿Quién? Who?, ¿Por qué? Why? y ¿De dónde? From where? Mira los ejemplos: ¿Cuánto(s) (How much/How many) años tienes? How old are you? ¿Qué te gusta hacer en tus ratos libres? What do you like to do in your free time? ¿Cómo sabes practicar tantos deportes? How do you know how to play so many sports? ¿Cuándo aprendiste a bucear? When did you learn to scuba dive? ¿Dónde conociste a tu amigo de Nueva York? Where did you meet your friend from New York.
Sometimes questions are formed by reversing the word order of the subject and verb in a sentence: ¿Escala montañas Pedro? You can also add a word like ¿no? or ¿verdad?, as in Susana toca la flauta, ¿verdad?
¿Cómo se dice en Español? Who speaks with Juan today? Who speaks today with Juan? Can I go to the bathroom? Can you take the quiz?
