“I have pizza and a coke.” Remember! You can’t use tengo (I have) with food and drink in Spanish but you can use tomo (I take) instead e.g. tomo una hamburguesa tomo una coca-cola tomé un café voy a tomar una pizza
Pay attention to word order! It is sometimes different to English. lo que como ayer normalmente mañana tomé tomo voy a… comer desayunar cenar beber mi comida favorita es comida mexicana un bocadillo de____ what I eat yesterday normally tomorrow I took (I ate / drank) I take (I eat / drink) I am going… to eat to eat for breakfast to eat for dinner to drink my favourite food is mexican food a ____ sandwich EXPRESS YOURSELF me gusta… I like porque… because prefiero…I prefer es mejor que… it’s better than… Pay attention to word order! It is sometimes different to English.
