Question practice: Son las 3 You will be given several questions in the next few minutes. Partner A will ask Partner B the question as written. Partner B must answer it in complete sentences in Spanish. THEN Partner B must find a way to rephrase the question to ask something similar (one of the other ways) and ask it to Partner A. Partner A answers the question and then you wait SILENTLY for me to give you another question for Partner B to start off asking.

Circumlocution Circumlocution is a fancy word for what you do in the game Catch Phrase. We’ll be doing more and more of this as time goes on. You already know enough Spanish to be able to do some of this now!

Tu turno Your turn! Pick a class from the list on your vocab sheet. Write up a description of it using the verbs on your vocab sheet and other things we’ve covered this year so far. When you’re done, read it out loud to your 6 o’clock partner to see if they can guess what it is. Once both of you have shared and guessed, head back to your seats and wait quietly.
