ATTENDANCE / ASISTENCIA Students need to be at school every day! School starts at 8:10 in the morning and 12:25 in the afternoon. Any time after that they will be TARDY. Please make sure your student is on time! Los estudiantes deben venir a la escuela todos los días! La escuela empieza a las 8:10 en la mañana y a las 2:25 en la tarde. Si llegan despues de esa hora los niños tendran llegada TARDE. Asegúrense que sus hijos lleguen a tiempo!

Extra Clothes/ Cambio Extra Please send an extra set of clothes in your childs backpack! There are many times where the students forget that they need to go, or we are out of the room and cant get to the room in time! Favor de mandar un cambio de ropa extra en la mochila de sus hijos! Hay muchas veces que a los estudiantes se les olvida que tienen que ir al baño o no estamos en el salón y no podemos llegar a tiempo!

GERMS/GERMENES Please help us fight the GERMS! Talk to your child about not putting things in their mouth. Students are constantly putting toys, manipulatives, shoe laces, and other items in their mouths. This can also be dangerous due to choking hazards. Favor de ayudarnos a combatir los GERMENES! Hablen con sus hijos acerca de no ponerse cosas en la boca! Los estudiantes estan constantemente poniendose juguetes, manipulativos, cintas de los zapatos y otros objetos en la boca! Esto puede ser peligroso. Puede causar que se ahoguen! * Practice Hand Washing at home / * Practiquen lavarse las manos en la casa.

Haz Tu Día esta basado en una Filosofía que promueve el desarrollo interno del contro en los estudiantes. Esta filosofía esta fundada en la dignidad humana, la responsabilidad de cada quien por sus acciones y la comprensión que todas las acciones resultan en consecuencias consistentes.

CLASSROOM NEWS / NOTICIAS DEL SALON Pre-k newsletters will be sent home every Tuesday, please check your childs folder! Newsletter will contain important days and announcements as well as information about what we are studying during the week. Las noticias del Pre-k se mandarán a la casa cada Martes, favor de checar el folder de su hijo/a! Las noticias contienen fechas importantes y anuncios como tambien lo que estudiamos esa semana.

PRE-K CURRICULUM / CURRICULO DEL PRE-K Pre-k will be following the Frog Street State Adoption Curriculum. We have many thematic units throughout the year. This thematic units will draw on students background knowledge and help them investigate and discover the world around them. Some of the thematic units are: My 5 senses, Families and homes, Healthy Choices, Nursery Rhymes, Tools and Machines, and Bugs. We will be introducing a group of letters each week. Pre-k seguira el curriculo de Frog Street State Adoption. Tenemos muchas Unidades temáticas durante el año. Estas unidades temáticas le ayudarán al estudiante a utilizar su conocimiento para ayudarles a investigar y descubrir el mundo a su alrededor. Salgunas de las unidades temáticas serán:Mis 5 sentidos, Familias y hogares, Decisiones Saludables, Fabulas, Herramientas y máquinas e Insectos. Estaremos integrando un grupo de letras cada semana.

VOLUNTEERS / VOLUNTARIOS We would love to have parent volunteers to come and help out. If you want to be a parent volunteer you have to be approved by BISD. You can fill out the application on the Birdville ISD website. Nos gustaría tener padres como voluntarios para que vengan a ayudar. Si desea ser un padre voluntario favor de llenar la aplicación en el Website del distrito escolar de Birdville.
