Reflexive explanation A verb is reflexive when the subject does the action to or for himself. A reflexive pronoun always accompanies such a verb. The pronoun agrees in person and number with the subject of the verb. Reflexive pronouns go before a conjugated verb.
The Reflexive Pronouns me = myself te = yourself se = himself, herself, yourself (formal) nos = ourselves se = theirselves, yourselves os = yourselves
llamarse (to call oneself) me llamo I call (myself) te llamas you call (yourself) se llama you call (yourself) he/she/it calls (himself/herself/itself) nos llamamos we call (ourselves) os llamáis you call (yourselves) se llaman you call (yourselves) they call (themselves)

Reflexive explanation Los niños se bañan de noche. The children bathe (themselves) at night. Yo siempre me acuesto a las once. I always go to bed at eleven.
Reflexive explanation The reflexive pronoun is necessary only when the subject does something to or for itself. Mamá se despierta primero y luego despierta a los niños. Mother wakes (herself) up first and then wakes up the children. Primero me baño y luego baño a los niños. First I bathe (myself), and then I bathe the children.

Huh? We already know to place the reflexive pronoun before the verb. I bathe myself everyday. Yo me baño todos los días. However, in an infinitive expression, the placement can vary.
Some Infinitive Expressions: Necesitar + infinitive Pensar + inf. Querer + inf. Poder + inf. Deber + inf. Ir + a + inf. Tener que + inf. Tener ganas de + inf. Need to… Thinking about/plan to… Want to… Can/able to… Should/ought to… Going to… Have to… Feel like… *In a Verb1 + Verb2 sentence, only Verb1 is conjugated!!!!
Step 1: Identify the infinitive expression, the reflexive verb and pronoun. I ought to bathe myself every day. I should = Yo debo to bathe = bañar myself = me
Step 2: Place the pronoun… In front of the infinitive expression: Yo me debo bañar todos los días. OR Attached to the end of the verb: Yo debo bañarme todos los días.
