¿Qué es el futuro? El futuro utiliza las mismas terminaciones para los verbos regulares que terminan en –AR, ER y –IR. The future tense uses the same endings for ALL –ar, -er, and –ir verbs.

Por ejemplo -AR -ER -IR é ás á *emos án Note: These endings are added at the end of the verbs. The word stays the same. This is only true for verbs that are REGULAR!

Verbos Irregulares The dreadful irregulars! With some verbs, you have to change the form of their ending slightly before adding the future tense endings. Here are the irregulars. 

Práctica #1.1 On a seperate sheet of paper, You will read and copy the short story. For each sentence, you will identify and underline the expressions from the future. You will then substitute them with the correct conjugation of the verb in the future tense.

(1) Los videntes (fortunetellers) aseguran que van a suceder catástrofes. (2) El clima va a cambiar. (3) Va a haber huracanes y terremotos. (4) Vamos a vivir tormentas permanentes. (5) Una gran niebla va a caer sobre el mundo. (6) El suelo del bosque va a temblar. (7) El mundo que conocemos también va a acabarse. (8) En ese instante, la tierra va a volver a sus orígenes.
