2 We have already learned one way to talk about the future.  You can use Ir + a + infinitive  Vamos a estudiar en la biblioteca. –We’ll study (we are going to study) in the library.  Mañana, voy a escalar montañas. –Tomorrow, I will climb (I am going to climb) mountains. . Vamos a naveagar por internet. –We’ll surf (We are going to surf) the internet.

3 ¡Qué fácil!  Well, if that was easy, this is even better! To form the future tense of regular verbs, you: Use the infinitive + -é -emos -ás -éis -á -án **The endings for the future tense are the same for –ar, -er, and –ir verbs It’s used to tell what “will” happen or what “shall” happen. *página 70 en el libro

4 Today we are going to learn how to form the future tense. You form the future tense by adding a special set of endings to the infinitive  You add these endings to the infinitive of a verb. é ás á emos éis án hablaré hablarás hablará hablaremos hablaréis hablarán All verbs have the Same endings In the future Tense.

5 ¡Ejemplos!  We will arrive at 9.  Nosotros llegaremos a las nueve.  I will go home.  Yo iré a casa.  José and Linda will eat in an elegant restaurant.  José y Linda will fish in the lake.  Jose y Linda pescarán en el lago.  Will you watch The Simpsons?  ¿Mirarás/ Verás Los Simpson?

6 The dreadful irregulars! With some verbs, you have to change the form of their infinitive slightly before adding the future tense endings. Here are the irregulars.
