4 -The day of the dead is a time of remembrance. People in many countries remember and honor those who have passed away on November 1 st and 2 nd. -Family and friends gather, usually around the tomb/grave, in the cemetery to pray and remember those who have passed. This celebration started with the indigenous people who believed in the afterlife. It is believed that during this time the deceased return home to visit and rejoiced with their loved ones. ¿Por qué se celebra?
