6  You’ll be having multiple mini conversations today in a “speed dating” setting.  Context: You are starting your first class in university Spanish and you want to get to know a little bit about the students in your class.  Conversations should include: Greetings, introductions, goodbyes (can also add the “where are you from” and “how are you” type thing as well.  Try to use a variety of vocabulary!

9  Remember:  No speaking when it is your turn to act out a word  You can give hints like holding up 2 fingers when there are 2 words  Your team can do things like ask if the word is masculine or feminine, asking if it is a greeting or a farewell, etc. that you can answer with a nod or shake of the head  Form 2 groups  Each group will send up 1 rep. each turn to act out the word  Classroom monitors will listen for the correct answer and award points. NO ARGUING!
