3 A Spanish verb has two parts The stem  Comprar = compr-  Organizar = organiz-  Escribir (to write) = escrib-  Comer (to eat) =com- The ending (ar/ir/er)  Comprar = ar  Organizar = ar  Escribir (to write) = ir  Comer (to eat) = er

4 To conjugate… #1 -We keep the stem and pull off the ending Comprar  compr- #2 keep the ending in your pocket… and take a look at the subject.

5 Remember our subject pronouns??? I =yo He = She = tú You = You (formal) =Usted ella él Them (girls) = Them (guys)= You guys = us = You guys (formal) = Ustedes ellas ellos vosotros nosotros
