3  To form the present progressive, you use the verb estar: EstoyEstamos EstásEstáis EstáEstán EstáEstán

4  And the present participle. You form the present participle by using the stem of the verb and adding the correct ending. For –ar verbs, add ando, for –er and –ir verbs add iendo.
