AL Y DEL When a or de is followed by the word el, a contraction is formed: Paco llega del gimnasio.Paco arrives from the gymnasium. Ana va al gimnasio.Ana goes to the gymnasium. POSESIÓN CON DE In Spanish, the “‘s” doesn’t exist to express possession.
