3 3. Since the form of the verb changes with each person, the subjects yo, tú, él, and ella can be omitted. Soy Alejandra. Eres mexicano, ¿no? Es alumna. 4. To make a sentence negative, simply put NO in front of the verb. Ella es María. No es Daniella.

6 3. You use ellos when talking about two or more males or a mixed group of males and females. Mario y Maria son amigos. Ellos son amigos. 4. You use ellas when talking about two or more females. Teresa y Josefina son inteligentes. Ellas son inteligentes. 5. When talking to more than one person, you use ustedes, the plural form for tú. Ustedes is commonly abbreviated as Uds. Antonio y tú son estudiantes. Uds. son estudiantes.
