For example: a broken vase, a stolen car or a fallen heroe. For ar verbs: AR – ADO For er/ir verbs: ER/IR – IDO Remember: they are adjectives therefore they have a masculine / feminine & singular / plural form that much match in gender and number the noun they describe.

Past participles Past Participles can be an adjective or part of a compound verb tense. As an adjective it follows estar in the Present or Imperfect Tenses and it must match the noun it describes in gender and number: Las camas están hechas. As part of a compound verb tense it follows haber and it is always used in the singular masculine form: Teresa ha hecho las camas.
