2 Conversación 1 (Tú) C2: I am very thirsty. Are you thirsty? C1: Yes. I want to drink something. Can you recommend a café? C2: Of course. Let’s go. C1: O.K. C2: Tengo mucha sed. ¿Tienes sed? C1: Sí. Quiero beber algo. ¿Puedes recomendar un café? C2: Claro. (Por supuesto.) Vamos. (Vámonos). C1: Vale. (Está bien.)

3 Conversación 2 (Tú) C1: ¿Qué hora es? C1: What time is it?
C2: Es el mediodía. Tengo hambre. ¿Tienes hambre? C1: Sí y tengo sed. Vamos a almorzar. C2: Vale. (Está bien.) ¿Puedes recomendar un buen restaurante? (un restaurante bueno) C1: Sí. Vamos a comer en un restaurante español. C1: What time is it? C2: It is noon. I’m hungry. Are you hungry? C1: Yes, and I am thirsty. Let’s have lunch. C2: O.K. Can you recommend a good restaurant? C1: Yes. Let’s eat at a Spanish restaurant.

4 Conversación 3(Ud.) C1: I’m really hungry (dying of hunger).
C2: Is it time for dinner? C1: Yes, it is 10:00 p.m. Can you recommend a cheap (inexpensive) restaurant? C2: No. I’m sorry. An expensive restaurant is over there. Let’s go. My treat. (I invite.) C1: Sure absolutely. (Why not?) C1: Me muero de hambre. C2: ¿Es hora de cenar? C1: Sí, son las diez de la noche. ¿Puede recomendar un restaurante económico? C2: No. Lo siento. Un restaurante caro está por ahí. Vamos. (Vámonos) Invito yo. C1: ¿Cómo no?

5 Conversación 4 C2: I am hungry and I’m thirsty. I want to eat something and to drink something. I’m looking for a snack bar. C1: A fast food restaurant is over there. C2: O.K. Thanks. C1: You’re welcome. I’m not hungry. See you later. C2: Tengo hambre y tengo sed. Quiero comer algo y quiero beber algo. Busco una cafetería. C1: Un restaurante de comida rápida está por ahí. Vale./Está bien. Gracias. De nada. No tengo hambre. Hasta luego. (Hasta la vista.)

C2: It is 7:30 a.m. and it is time for breakfast. I am very hungry. C1: I want to eat at 8:00. Where is an inexpensive (cheap) restaurant? C2: Over here, next to the snack bar. C1: ¿Qué hora es? C2: Son las siete y media de la mañana. Tengo mucha hambre. C1: Quiero comer a las ocho. ¿Dónde está un restaurante económico? C2: Por aquí, al lado de la cafetería.
