Agreement: Articles and adjectives match the gender and number of the nouns they describe Remember that every noun is either masculine or feminine!!! Nouns ending in –o = usually masculine Nouns ending in –a = usually feminine

Articles Articles are a part of speech that come before nouns Definite articles: used with nouns to indicate specific persons, places, or things (the) Indefinite articles: used with nouns to indicate nonspecific persons, places, or things (a, an, some)

Nota: In English, the adjectives usually come before the noun. Ejemplo: The pretty woman. In Spanish, the adjectives come after the noun. Ejemplo: La mujer bonita.
