1 Byron’s Homework Teacher’s Notes: The kids are doing great! I’m so proud of them. This week I will begin assessing your child and will let you know how they are doing. We are also beginning homework this week. Look below on the schedule to see what they should work on. If it involves writing, then they will record their work in their homework journal. Remember, it should take no longer than 20 minutes to do these. Keep up the good work and your child will shine this year. Schedule/ Planes Monday/ lunes: PE--educación física Study reading words--Estudie la letras de lectura Math- Solve the math problem written on the back of this page. Matemáticas – Soluciona el problema matemático que aparece en la parte posterior de la página. Tuesday/ martes: Library—bibiloteca Study reading words--Estudie la letras de lectura Read, sign sheet 1 time, and return book in baggie / Leer, firmen en el registro 1 vez y devuelvan el libro en la bolsita Wednesday/ miércoles: Music—música Study reading words-Estudie la letras de lectura Read the story in green reading book and complete the comprehension questions in the composition notebook. Questions are on the paper inside the green book, write the answers in the homework journal. Polite Poem I like to be nice To all people at school. It makes them feel great, And it makes me feel cool. Be thoughtful to others is something I do. I look when they speak And I listen carefully too! Before I do, Before I say, I think, “Would I like to be treated this way?” Word Wizard Words (palabras de magia ) These are words for your child to find in books and bring in to share with the class.
