Tener que + infinitive to have to (+ do something)
We know that tener means to have. When you use tener + que + infinitive it now means to have to do something. 1.Ustedes tienen que romper la piñata. 2.Yo tengo que decorar la casa. You all have to break the piñata. I have to decorate the house.
Translate the following sentences. 1.They have to take pictures of the party. 2. We have to walk to school. 3. Does he have to play baseball?
1. They have to take pictures of the party. Ellos tienen que sacar fotos de la fiesta.
We have to walk to school. Nosotros tenemos que caminar a la escuela.
