Apuntes el 14 de octubre Los verbos reflexivos ( Reflexive verbs) Marta se levanta a eso de las seis. Marta gets up around six o’clock. Yo me levanto a eso de las siete. I get up around seven o’clock. ¿A qué hora te levantas tú? What time do you get up?

The infinitives of reflexive verbs have the reflexive pronoun se attached to the end. Some common reflexive verbs are: acostarse (o ue): to go to bedromperse + body part: to break bañarse: to take a bathsentirse (e ie): to feel ducharse: to take a showertorcerse (o ue) + body part: to twist/sprain enfermarse: to get sickvestirse (e i): to get dressed levantarse: to get up

The subject pronoun can often be omitted, but the reflexive pronoun cannot. ¿A qué hora se acostaron Uds.? What time did you guys go to bed? Nos acostamos a las once. We went to bed at eleven o’clock. ¿Cómo te sientes? How do you feel? Me siento un poco mareada. I feel a little bit dizzy.
