Los pronombres tú y usted We use tú when speaking with friends, family, and anyone we would call by their first name. We use usted when speaking with adults we would address with a title or people whom we do not know.

Los pronombres ustedes y vosotros(as) In Latin America, we use ustedes (Uds.) when speaking to two or more people. In Spain, we use vosotros(as) when addressing two or more people we would address individually as tú. We use ustedes when speaking to two or more people we would address as usted.
