Separar aplicaciones y datos de usuario del sistema, usar Storage migration tools después del setup. Discos de alta velocidad incrementan el rendimiento del servidor Lineas generales de capacidad Calcular 2gb. Por buzón Calcular 50gb para datos / 2gb x usuario. 32 Migración De SBS 2003, 2003 Server, Server 2008, SBS 2008 a SBS 2008
1. Preparar el servidor saliente Realizar Backup en servidor saliente Instalar los service pack más recientes Verificar la conexión a la red Elevar el nivel funcional de dominio y bosque Evaluar la salud del servidor saliente Optimizar Exchange y buzones Correr Migration tool DVD-Rom:\tools\Sourcetool.exe Lanza Adprep.exe, a continuación completa el proceso de migración, acualiza el AD DS Schema en el servidor saliente si este corre sbs 2003 o Windows Server 2008. Instala actualizaciones y extiende el tiempo limite para finalizar la migración, normalmente, solo un servidor corre windows SBS 2008 o SBS 2003 además no permite que exista otro dominio ni que los roles sean alojados en otro controlador de dominio, pero al pasar sourcetool, inhibe esta prohibición a 21 días. 8. Migrar aplicaciones y sus datos.
