17 To describe something that is “in progress” or “happening right now,” you can use the present progressive (i.e. say it is happening) You start with ESTAR Yo estoy Tú estás Él/ella está Nosotros estamos Ellos están Then you take the action and make it a gerund (i.e. add an “-ing”) to make it in progress Hablar ==> Hablando Beber ==> Bebiendo Vivir ==> Viviendo By adding an -ando or an -iendo.

You have, Ella está aprendiendo español. Nosotros estamos corriendo. Estoy bailando en la clase. Ellos están compartiendo helado. Tú estás enseñando francés.
