2 -ER/IR verbs When you see the –er/-ir at the end of the verb, what form of the verb is that? Infinitive! Ej: correr  to run Don’t forget that we have to CONJUGATE infinitives to use them as verbs. Ej: La chica corre muy despacio. The girl runs very slowly.

3 These endings go with all -ER regular, present tense verbs
ER VERB ENDINGS Yo -o Tú -es Él, ella, usted -e Nosotros/as -emos Ellos/as, ustedes -en These endings go with all -ER regular, present tense verbs

4 Present tense –ER conjugations:
Aprender – to learn Yo Aprendo I learn Tú Aprendes You (inf.) learn Él, ella, usted Aprende He/she/you (f) learns Nosotros/as Aprendemos We learn Ellos/as, ustedes Aprenden They/you all learn
