3 It’s a group of tenses used in complex sentences, where the action in the subordinate sentence may or may not occur, it’s the result of an emotion, may or may not be true or is used when a “trigger” impersonal expression is in the main clause

10 USE THE SUBJUNCTIVE… EJEMPLOS:
When the main clause includes one of the previous verbs, When the subject is different to the subject in the subordinate clause. AND….. There is QUE connecting both clauses. EJEMPLOS: Quiero que tú comas. Piden que yo cante. Sugiere que ellos hablen español. Recomendamos que vayan a Florida. Insistís en que nosotros bailemos.

11 EMOTION EJEMPLOS: Te alegras de que haga buen tiempo. Sienten que estés enfermo. Temo que Juan no venga a la fiesta. Estoy preocupado de que el examen sea dificil. Me gusta que mis amigos me llamen por teléfono. Tenemos miedo de que tú no puedas llegar hoy. When the verb in the main clause expresses a feeling or emotion. When the subject in the subordinate clause is different from the subject in the main clause. AND… there is QUE connecting both.

12 DUDA EJEMPLOS: Dudan que María sepa la verdad. Es improbable que haya un monstruo en el lago Ness. Es imposible que Juan vea un fantasma. No crees que Paquita venga a clase hoy. No es cierto que yo sepa hablar alemán. When the action in the main clause expresses doubt, untruthfulness, uncertainty or disbelief. The subjects in MC and SC are different. AND… QUE connects both clauses.
