2 Expressing agreement Ya conoces algunas expresiones para expresar acuerdo: Así es. That’s right. Of course! Eso es. ¡Claro que sí! Of course! ¡Cómo no! Of course. Desde luego. Of course. Por supuesto. I agree. Estoy de acuerdo.

3 Expressing qualified agreement
Si crees que otra persona no tiene toda la razón, puedes decir: Up to a certain point yes, but... Hasta cierto punto, sí, pero.... But you have to take into account that… Pero hay que tener en cuenta que… It depends on your point of view. Depende de tu punto de vista. Do you think so? I don’t know... ¿Tú crees? No sé… That’s very hard to believe, but its possible. Es muy difícil creer, pero es posible.

4 Expressing qualified agreement
Si crees que otra persona no tiene toda la razón, puedes decir: Well, that may be, but… Bueno, puede ser pero… Actually, it seems to be that way. En efecto, parece ser así.

5 Expressing disagreement
Si no estás de acuerdo para nada, puedes decir: On the contrary. No way! Al contrario. ¡Qué va! Of course not! ¡Nada de eso! Of course not! ¡ Claro que no! That’s very unlikely. ¡Eso es muy difícil! How silly! ¡Qué tontería!

Estas expresiones se usan cuando no se sabe quién dijo algo o cuando “todo el mundo” lo dice: Somebody told me that… Alguien me dijo que… They say that… Dicen que… They say that… Cuentan que… They say that… Se dice que… man/woman hombre/mujer

8 Third Person (Impersonal Construction)
The impersonal construction se + verb often corresponds to sentences in English that use people, they, you, we or one… It’s usually used with the third person singular of the verb. Ex. How do you get to the castle? ¿Cómo se llega al castillo? And how does one know that? ¿Y cómo se sabe eso?
