2 Verbos Reflexivos that the subject is both the giver
- Reflexive verbs are used to indicate that the subject is both the giver and the receiver of the action. Example: The boy dresses himself. Is that same person receiving the dressing? (Yes!) Who is dressing? Since the boy is both doing the dressing and receiving the dressing, it is reflexive.

7 In English the reflexive pronouns are often expressed with a “self /selves” ending:
You showered yourself. The boys wash themselves. Sometimes the “self/selves” sounds strange in English, so we omit it... Remember, though, if she is both doing the brushing and receiving the brushing, it is a reflexive verb. She brushes (herself).

The Spanish equivalents are as follows: myself = me ourselves = nos yourself = te yourselves = os yourself = se yourselves = se himself = se themselves = se herself = se themselves = se
