2 RING BUNS Or Spanish Donuts

3 Recipe Ingredients: 12 large eggs (a dozen eggs) 3 or 4 Kg flour 1 Kg sugar ¾ Kg lard oil (1 cup) 2 lemons 3 Tablespoons cinnamon 3 teaspoons bicarbonate anisette (a little bit)

4 Method: Heat the lard to melt and leave it to cool. Take 10 eggs and separate the yolks from the whites. Whip the egg whites to stiff peaks. Put the rest of the eggs, the yolks and the sugar into a bowl and beat. Add the cinnamon, grated lemon peel, bicarbonate, anisette and mix well. Combine with the whipped egg whites.

5 Add the melted lard and oil to the mixture and stir. Little by little, add the flour and fold it. Put as much flour as it needs. Knead the dough, roll it on a floured board and make flower shapes. Put them into the oven until cooked. (180º C; about 20 minutes)

6 Receta Receta Rosquillas Por San Blas, Rosquillas de Dicastillo comerás Ingredientes: 12 huevos grandes 3 ó 4 k. de harina 1 k. de azúcar ¾ k. de manteca 1 vaso de aceite 2 limones 3 cucharadas de canela 3 cucharillas de bicarbonato un poco de anís

7 Preparación: Calienta la manteca hasta que se derrita y déjala enfriar. Coge 10 huevos y separa las yemas de las claras. Bate las claras a punto de nieve. Pon el resto de los huevos, las yemas y el azúcar en un bol y bate. Agrega la canela, la ralladura de limón, el bicarbonato y el anís. Mézclalo bien y añade las claras batidas.

8 Echa la manteca derretida y el aceite a la mezcla anterior y revuelve. Poco a poco, incorpora la harina (tanta como necesite). Amasa, extiende con el rodillo y haz las rosquillas con su forma de flor. Mételas en el horno a 180º C durante, aproximadamente, 20 minutos.
