3 Pronouns after Prepositions  Prepositions in English are: at, for, in, on, and with.  In Spanish, prepositions are: a, con, de, and para.  When the pronoun acts as the object of a preposition, a different set of pronouns is used.  Ex. I speak with them. (them is the object of the preposition.)

4 Pronouns after Prepositions cont. Mí Nosotros(as) Ti Vosotros(as) Él, Ella, UstedEllos, Ellas, Ustedes Notice, they are the same as subject pronouns except mí (yo) and ti (tú). You may also notice that they are the same pronouns as we use with the verb gustar. Examples: Juan habla de mí. He speaks of me. Hablo con ellos. I speak with them. El teléfono está cerca de ti. The cell phone is near you.

5 Cont.  When you use the pronouns mí and ti after the preposition con, they combine with con to form the words conmigo and contigo.  Examples:  ¿Por qué no vienes conmigo? (Why don’t you come with me? )  No voy contigo, voy con ellos. (I’m not going with you, I’m going with them.)
