3 El verbo ir (to go) To say where someone is going use ir + a + the place. ej. Voy a la zapatería. - I'm going to the shoe store ej. Vamos al centro comercial. - We're going to the mall. To say what you're going to do use ir + a + infinitive. ej. Voy a comprar zapatos. - I'm going to buy shoes. ej. Vamos a ver televisión. - We're going to watch tv. To ask where someone is going use ¿Adónde + ir? ej. ¿Adónde vas? - Where are you going? ej. ¿Adónde van las chicas? - Where are the girls going?
