2 Los Apodos Apodos en español are sometimes versions of your actual name, usually shortened. However, sometimes that’s not the case! Instead, adjetivos or other names based on the person’s attributes. They are never meant to be me insulting or hurtful!

3 ¿Qué será tu apodo? ¡Piensen! Think! What would YOU like to be called. Do not suggest anything for another. You do not want to hurt anyone’s feelings if your opinion is not the same as theirs. Choose 2 – 3 possibilities in case they are taken before it’s your turn to choose. Let’s see what yours will be!

4 ¡Practiquemos! Now, think of a body movement you can associate with your nombre nuevo. For example, if you’re tonto/a use moose ears. If you’re perezoso/a try yawning. If you’re lentes, try making glasses with your hands! Now let’s go around and see who we know!
