2 DEFINITION: Grammar Lady: A verb is reflexive when the subject and the object are the same.  Subject (who/what does the verb)  Object (receives the action) In simpler terms, a verb is reflexive when someone does something to/for himself. In Spanish, reflexive verbs end in -se
