5 ¿Cómo son…? Ellos son jóvenes. Ellos son viejos.

6 ¿Cómo son…? Ellos son atléticos y altos. Ellas son atléticas y bajas.

12 Los adjetivos In Spanish, adjectives have to agree with who or what they are describing in two ways: 1.) Gender (masculine/feminine) Carlos es cómico Elena es cómica 2.) Number (singular/plural) Carlos y Paco son cómicos Elena y Celia son cómicas

13 Los adjetivos Adjectives that end in –o have 4 different forms: MASCULINO FEMENINO SINGULAR honesto honesta PLURAL honestos honestas Note that when you describe a group that contains both men and women, the masculine-plural form of the adjective is used by default. Por ejemplo… cómica Ellen es _____________________. (cómico) Bill y Hillary Clinton son _____________________. (serio) Las muchachas son _____________________. (bonito) serios bonitas
