2 Verb comes before subject!
Making questions To make a question always remember, Verb comes before subject! Questions are indicated by ¿ and ? Like parenthesis

3 Por ejemplo- Ella estudia mucho. She studies a lot. How would I ask the question to get a yes/no answer? ¿Estudia ella mucho? Notice the verb comes BEFORE the subject.

4 The formula is: ¿verb + subject + rest of the sentence? ¿V+S+RS?

5 Answers ¿ Hablan los estudiantes español? ¿Trabajan las chicas mucho? ¿Desea ella viajar?

6 “Tag words” are used at the end of sentences for yes and no confirmations. These tag words are ¿verdad? and ¿no? Ella estudia mucho, ¿verdad? Ella estudia mucho, ¿no?

7 Question words Question words can be used in the formulas. ¿QW+V+S+RS?
There are some mutants to this, but they are usually memorized responses. ¿cuántos(as)? Is one that will make a mutation.

8 Ask questions to get the following answers.
Ella compra el libro. ¿Qué compra ella? 2. Luis contesta la pregunta. ¿Quién contesta la pregunta? 3. Ellos trabajan a la escuela. ¿Dónde trabajan ellos? When the statement has tú or Uds., you will have to answer with a different verb.

9 ¿Qué escuchas tú? What are you listening to? Answer with I Yo escucho la radio. ¿Dónde estudian Uds.? Answer with we Nosotros estudiamos en la biblioteca.
