What are plurals? Singular – 1 of something Plural – 2 or more of something

What are the rules? Rule #1 – You add the letter S to the end of a word that ends with a vowel. – Calendario calendarios – Rojo rojos – Libro libros – Pollo pollos – Oso osos

What are the rules? Rule #2 – You add the letters es to the end of a word that ends with a consonant. Papel papeles Reloj relojes

What are the rules? Rule #3 – Not really a rule, rather an exception to the rules... – If a noun or an adjective ends with a z, you need to change the z to a c, then you follow rule #2! – Examples: L ápiz lapic lapices Luz luc luces

What are the rules? Rule #4 If you change the adjective or noun, you also need to change the article that is in front of the noun. – El los – La las
