3 1797 Nació el 31 de enero en Viena. 1808 Fue aceptado en el coro de niños de la Capilla Imperial. 1813 Consiguió una beca para seguir en la escuela de la corte. 1814 Trabajó como maestro en el colegio que dirigía su padre. 1816 Abandonó la enseñanza. 1818 Fue preceptor de música en la finca de verano del conde Esterházy en Hungría. 1820 El Teatro Kártnerthor le encargó la música de la obra Las mellizos. 1823 Internado en un hospital, comienzó a componer el ciclo La bella molinera. 1824 Volvió a la finca Esterházy y se enamoró de una de las hijas del conde. 1825 Viajó a pie por la Alta Austria con Johann Vogel. 1827 Compuso el ciclo de canciones El viaje de invierno. 1828 Murió el 19 de noviembre en Viena. 4 Childhood Schubert was born in Vienna, Austria in January 31 of 1797. He was the fourth child of Theodore Schubert, a schoolmaster, an Elizabeth Viet, a domestic servant. He got lesson in violin from his father, his older brother Ginza and also Michael Holder, Who was the organist from the Liechtenthal Parish Church. When he was entered to the choir of the Imperial Court Chapel and in the Royal Seminary. He was an outstanding student even when he was sick. When he was young the music he was inspired by was Franz Joseph Haydn, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Ludwig von Beethoven.

5 Youth In his youth Schubert was a shy guy and when he turned fifteen he left he choir because his voice was changing. At his 17 years Shubert created his first manifest named Gretchen am Spinnrade Which was inspired by Goethe’s Faust. After creating his first piece he turned into his dad’s assistant in school, but he didn’t forget his dream of turning into a musician wasn’t forgotten.

6 Years of fame In between the years 1820 and 1823 Schubert obtained musical maturity. Two of his Operettas were presented in public and many of his songs. In 1821 Schubert and Schober left Viena with the intention to write the grand opera Alfonso und Estrella. In 1822 he began to work on his symphony on B minor which is now known as “Unfinished”. The reasons why it is incomplete are unknown. Later that year he was creating the third act of his opera,Firabras, unfortunately his opera failed in 1823. Now he turned into a chamber musician.

8 Death Schubert die November 19, 1828 Schubert died. Shortly before his death he had come back from a trip he had made to Styria to regain strength. He was already planning another trip to go back to Vienna and see his old friends. In 1828 even though he was ill he still kept on working on his music. Looks like illness gave him creativity because one of his best piano duet,Fantasy in F minor, was created in his illness Other music pieces created during his illness were “Great Symphony”, “Mir jam's Siegesgesang” or “The string Quintet in C mayor” Shubert’s last concert was in march 26 on the year of his death. With this success he bought himself a piano. Because of being so tired and also having so bad health he moved to his brothers house, Ferdinand. He died there.
