5 Querer – to want Querer + infinitive is used to express what somebody wants to do. Quiero mirar la televisión.  I want to watch tv. Quieres bailar en la fiesta.  You (fam) want to dance at the party. Chela quiere salir.  Chela wants to go out.

6 Poder – to be able to/can
Poder + infinitive is used to express what somebody is able to do. ¿Puedo ir al baño?  Can I go to the bathroom? Puedes ir a la oficina.  You (fam) can go to the office. Chela puede ir la fiesta.  Chela can go to the party.

7 Deber – to ought to do Deber + infinitive is used to express what somebody should do. Debes comer muchos vegetales.  You (fam) should eat a lot of vegetables. Deben escuchar al profesor.  You (plural) should listen to the teacher. Chela debe estudiar para el examen.  Chela should study for the test.

8 Use querer + infinitive to write the following sentences.
