2 Adjective Agreement in Spanish Spanish nouns are classified as masculine or feminine. Totally foreign concept, English nouns don’t have gender. Most of the time their gender has nothing to do with things we think of as “manly” or “girly”

5 Agreement of Adjectives – Spanish perspective Adjectives can be masculine/feminine, singular/plural NOT BASED ON traditional or American ideas of gender If your noun is masculine, the adjectives you use to describe it must also be masculine The tree is tall and beautiful. El árbol es alto y bonito. The tower is tall and beautiful. La torre es alta y bonita.
