99 To say what time it is, use… Es la una. Son las dos. When including the minutes, say… [hour] y [minutes] before half hour [next hour] menos [minutes] after the half hour To say at a certain time, say: A la una… A las dos… voy a la clase de matemáticas. voy a la clase de química.

16 Venir with time 99 To say when someone comes to school, use venir with time this way: Vengo al colegio a las ocho en punto. Vienes al colegio a las ocho y media. Ella viene al colegio a las ocho y cuarto. Nosotros venimos al colegio a las nueve menos cuarto. Ustedes vienen al colegio a las ocho y cinco. I come to school at eight o’clock on the dot. You (informal) come to school at 8:30. She comes to school at 8:15. We come to school at 15 ‘til 9. (8:45) Y’all come to school at 8:05.
