In Spanish… We use punctuation marks at the end of sentences, and also at the FRONT of sentences. ¿ and ¡ are the ones that I am referring to here. The purpose is to signal to you the reader or audience that a question or an exclamation is about to happen.

Examples… ¿Cómo está Usted? How are you? ¡Hasta mañana! See you tomorrow!
