The celebration Easter is celebrated all over the world. In Spain there is a whole week leading up to Easter day which is celebrated on a Monday. The whole week before is called La Semana Santa(the holy week). This is one of the biggest celebrations in Spain.

Importance of the Event The importance of this event is to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is the most important Christian festival and it is celebrated with the most joy.
