2 You have already learned to talk about the future. The forms of the present can be used to describe the immediate future, and the ir + a + infinitive construction. However, the future can also be expressed with FUTURE tense.

3 Es muy fácil. -It’s called the future / el futuro -It translates to “will” in English -You add the ending directly to the end of the infinitive verb. - There is only one set of endings for ALL verbs

4 In English, the future is formed with the auxiliary verbs will or shall; I will/shall speak. In Spanish, the future (el futuro) is a simple verb form (only one word). It is formed by adding future endings to the infinitive. No auxiliary verbs are needed. Future verb endings: -é -emos -ás -éis -á -án Future verb endings: -é -emos -ás -éis -á -án
