DO NOW: Solve each math problem. Each problem and answer should be written out. Ejemplo: = ? Cero más uno son uno. 1) = ? 2) 8 – 3 = ? 3) = ? 4) 7 – 2 = ? 5) = ?

2 Ocho menos tres son cinco. 3) 3 + 0 = 3 Tres más cero son tres.
DO NOW: Repaso 1) = 10 Uno más nueve son diez. 8 – 3 = 5 Ocho menos tres son cinco. 3) = 3 Tres más cero son tres. 7 – 2 = 5 Siete menos dos son cinco. 4 + 2 = 6 Cuatro más dos son seis.

10 Practicamos Trabajen en parejas (grupos de dos).
*Write out all of your work! Ask each other your phone number and share your phone number with your partner. *If you are not comfortable sharing your real phone number, make one up! Each of you will share your phone numbers to the class, so be prepared to share out.

11 Math Races! You will be divided into teams.
Each team will have one of its members come to the board. Ms. Mohamed will give you a math problem. The first person at the board to correctly write out the problem and solve it will raise his/her hand. He/she will read the problem to the class (in Spanish), with his/her solution. If correct, he/she will earn a point for his/her team. If incorrect, the other teams at the board will have a chance to correct the error and win the point!
