5 To compare quantities that are the same or equal… Tanto/ tantos + noun + como Tanta/tantas + noun + como 1. Maria tiene tantos amigos como Juan. (Maria has as many guy friends as Juan.) 2. Maria tiene tantas bolsas como yo. (Maria has as many bags as me.)
