2 I.Indirect Objects Indirect objects are to whom or for whom the action of the verb is performed for. (They are usually people & pets.) Rules state that if you have an indirect object, you must have an accompanying Indirect Object Pronoun in front of the conjugated verb form. (Ex. If you have “A” you must have “B”, if you have “1” you must have “2”.) IDOPs are used when the action is happening to someone other than the speaker.

5 II. Direct Objects Direct Objects …receive the action of the verb. The verb answers the “what or whom” Direct Object Pronouns are…me, te, lo/la nos, los/las (me, you, him/her/it, us, them) Direct Object Pronouns come before conjugated verb forms (just like the indirect object pronouns) Unlike with Indirect Object Pronouns that accompany the Indirect Object, Direct Object Pronouns replace the Direct Object—to avoid redundancy. 1.Carlos bebe la leche. 2.Yo visito a mis amigas. 3.Él conoce a Felipe y a Carlos. 4.Yo sé la verdad (truth). 5.
