2  Julio nació el 23 de septiembre de 1943 en Madrid, España.  His birth name was Julio José Iglesias de la Cueva.  He sold over three-hundred million records worldwide in fourteen languages, and he released eighty albums.  Julio was in a near fatal car accident which left him partially paralyzed and unable to walk for two years.  After college, he was a European soccer goalkeeper for Real Madrid.  Julio él era un cantante y compositor desde 1968.
