Surrealismo Surrealism: The modern movement of painting, sculpture, and literature that tries to demonstrate what occurs in the subconscious mind. Many times the images interweave the conventional with the unconventional, or rather, the familiar with the strange or bizarre to represent the thoughts and characteristics of dreams, or the subconscious expression of the imagination
25
27
The Madonna of Port Lligat - 1949 Otro tema importante es la religión.
28
29
The Three Sphixes of Bikini - 1947 Esta obra destaca otra influencia importante en las obras de Dalí, o sea, otro tema—el átomo o la guerra atómica.
30
32
Design for the Film “Spellbound” – 1945 for Hitchcock
33

DALI – FAMOUS QUOTES “There is only one difference between a madman and me. The madman thinks he is sane. I know I am mad.” "Paranoiac-critical activity organizes and objectifies in an exclusivist manner the limitless and unknown possibilities of the systematic association of subjective and objective 'significance' in the irrational...” “Each morning when I awake, I experience again a supreme pleasure - that of being Salvador Dali. “ “Surrealism is destructive, but it destroys only what it considers to be shackles limiting our vision.” “Drawing is the honesty of the art. There is no possibility of cheating. It is either good or bad.” “There are some days when I think I'm going to die from an overdose of satisfaction.” “Have no fear of perfection - you'll never reach it.” “Wars have never hurt anybody except the people who die.” Libros: “The Unspeakable Confessions of Dalí”, “How to Become Dalí”, “The Secret Life of Dalí”, “Diary of a Genius”
